GRADE 7 • WEEK 01 • ISLAMIC STUDIES
The people Allah chose to guide humanity.
Discover the five essential attributes and five mission-centered characteristics that made the prophets trustworthy guides and beautiful role models.
01 • BELIEF IN PROPHETS
Why did humanity need prophets?
Belief in Allah’s prophets is the fourth Article of Faith. Prophethood is not earned or self-appointed; it is the highest rank Allah directly grants to selected servants.
Prophets are human guides who receive revelation and lead people toward truth. For their message to be trusted, they must possess exceptional qualities.
02 • THE FIVE ATTRIBUTES
Remember one word:
SAFTI.
These qualities describe what every prophet is like. Select each letter and connect the meaning to your own character.
Truthfulness
Prophets are truthful in every situation. They never lie, not even as a joke, and their words always agree with reality and divine truth.
Trustworthiness
Prophets are completely reliable. They keep promises, protect what is entrusted to them, and never betray anyone’s trust.
Intelligence & Wisdom
Prophets possess outstanding understanding, insight, foresight, and wisdom. They understand people and solve difficult problems with excellent judgment.
Conveying Allah’s Message
Prophets communicate Allah’s guidance clearly, completely, and courageously. They do not hide, change, or leave out the message.
Divine Protection
Allah protects prophets from sins that would damage their mission and role-model status. They remain human, with real emotions and challenges, while being reliable guides.
AN IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION
Protected guides.
Still fully human.
Prophets felt hunger, sadness, joy, fear, and hope. Ismah did not make them emotionless or superhuman. Allah’s protection made them reliable examples and protected the trustworthiness of their mission.
03 • HOW PROPHETS CARRIED THEIR MISSION
Five shared
characteristics.
Attributes describe what prophets are. These characteristics describe how they act while guiding humanity.
Revelation & Submission
They depend on Allah’s revelation and submit fully to His guidance, rather than following personal desire in matters of religion.
No Wage
They are trustworthy and ask no payment for delivering Allah’s message. Their mission is not for money, status, or personal gain.
Complete Sincerity
Their intention is pure. They seek Allah’s pleasure, not praise, popularity, or human approval.
Wisdom & Kindness
They call people with wisdom, patience, compassion, and language suited to the people they are teaching.
Calling to Tawhid
Every prophet’s central message is the same: worship Allah alone and build life upon His guidance.
